![]() Some of these manuscripts entered the collection of the Bataviaasch Genootschap and are now held in the National Library of Indonesia (PNRI) in Jakarta, while many others found their way to the Netherlands, ending up in Leiden University Library (LUB), the Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen (KIT) in Amsterdam and the Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde (RMV) in Leiden, as well as in a number of other institutions. ![]() ![]() During this long conflict, large numbers of manuscripts in Malay, Arabic and Acehnese were captured by the Dutch and taken as war booty.
